About the game
Neon Lines started as a weekend prototype and turned into the game we play the most ourselves. The rules fit in one sentence, but the difficulty curve took four months to get right.
Every level is hand-tuned. There is no energy timer, no pay-to-win shop, and nothing that nags you to come back. You open it, you play for three minutes or thirty, and you close it.
What makes it different
Most games in this genre reward speed. Neon Lines rewards noticing — the board tells you what to do next if you look at it long enough. That is the whole design.
